01.05.09 | Another New Year
It's the beginning of another new year and there's a lot happening. In the past couple of month I've been lucky enough to record on a few killin new records:

Matt Politano (Piano) Trio with Nate Wood on Drums

Tigran Hamasyan's (Piano) Aratta Rebirth with Ben Wendel on Tenor and Basson, Nate Wood on Drums, Areni Agbabian on Vocals, and Charles Altura on Guitar

Brandon Bernstein (Guitar) Quartet with Matt Otto on Tenor, and Mark Furber on Drums

Josh Nelson (Piano) Trio with Zach Harmon on Drums and Ben Wendel on Saxes and Basson (we are on a few tracks and the rest of the album is with Hamilton Price on Bass and Kevin Kanner on Drums)

David Rosenboom's Newest Album (David is the dean of the CalArts Music department and a major influence in experimental music)

A new DR. MiNT suite with Dan Rosenboom on Trumpets, Gavin Templeton on Saxes, Alex Noice on Guitar and Electronics and Caleb Dolister on Drums

Also, we've just finished recording the new Axis Trio album which I'm very excited about.

I'm also touring a bunch in the next few months... please check the itinerary and I hope to catch all of you somewhere!

08.03.08 | Axis CD is available
The first Axis Trio recording, "The Hand," is now available at CD Baby and iTunes!

06.20.08 | Axis Trio
Axis Trio, featuring Amino Belyamani on Piano, Qasim Naqvi on Drums and myself, has released our first record on SNP Records. We had our CD release party last night and we had a great turnout! Thanks everybody for coming and hanging with us.

We leave on June 30th for Amino's home town of Morocco, where we will be touring for the first three weeks of July. Also, we will be doing a west coast tour in September so please check out our schedule for dates.

03.31.07 | SonicNation Productions
We just had a big weekend! Caleb Dolister kickstarted SonicNation Production back to life. The label was originally intended to release Electrosonic records but Caleb has taken it to the next level. Today we finished recording the first two cd's under the newly formed label. The Electrosonics and Medulla Oblongata Ensemble featuring Peter Epstein will be released soon in the next few months... stay tuned!
